The wave board adjusts the speed of the Goldberg device and can be connected with the following actions.
'Wave board' science principle
*Potential energy by gravity
The gravitational energy of an object high above the reference plane.
*inertia
The nature of trying to continue a state of stationary or constant velocity motion, unless the object is subject to external forces
*Centrifugal force
The force exerted from the center outward when an object makes a circular motion.
*Pendulum movement
The movement of a suspended object fixed to the effects of gravity at regular intervals.
1 Step. Make a body
① Fold the main body of the waveboard along the fold line and secure four with snap buttons.
② Insert the waveboard guide into the groove in the middle of the assembled waveboard body.
2 Step. Complete the wave board
① Align the board with the curved groove of the waveboard body.
② Insert the board into the middle groove of the body.
③ Push the board plate all the way into the square groove.
④ Wave board finished.
3 Step. Operate the wave board
① Place the beads on the waveboard.
*Place the beads on one end without a square groove.
② The beads moves along the board and falls to the last square groove.
4 Step. Connecting Goldberg Devices
① Install the E-5 seesaw rail next to the wave board.
② Try to install and operate the beads on the seesaw rail.
*Observe how the beads rolls and moves on the wave board.
